Marie Lucie Bougon (she/ her) is a doctoral student at the University of Artois (France) developing a thesis on comparative literature entitled The Reception of fantasy in France from 1972 to the present day: from importation to appropriation, under the guidance of Anne Besson. Marie Lucie Bougon is also a fiction author and has recently published her first novel, a steampunk rewriting of Future Eve, by Villiers de l’Isle-Adam (The Club of the Hallucinated Erudites, Chat Noir Editions, 2019, no translation into english yet).
